In the 1973-1975 labeling period Bench used both cupped and uncupped bats, but only a few different models. Records of cupped bats, say a cupped end Model B278 will usually be recorded as B278C, but that is not always the case. Anyway, here is what the records show for that period:
B267 35.5"/32.5 oz B278 35"/32.5 oz 35.5'/31-33 oz 37"/33 oz generally cupped ends B278C 35.5'/32.5 oz H176C 35.5"/33 oz Hickory S222 35.5"/ 34 oz 36"/34 oz
Most bats were Flame Treated finish, wide grained wood, and weights marked. Approximately 410- 425 bats were shipped to bench during this labeling period.
See the Game Used Library (Player Bat Charts) for additional specific information... if you are looking at a specific bat, let me know the model and dimensions and I will try to narrow it down in that labeling period for you.
