eBay item 320611991919: I "C" something odd

Bill, I will defer to your opinion on this, if different, but I can find no pictures from 1989 of Cal Jr. wearing a game jersey with "C. RIPKEN" on the back. Is this as out of line as I think it is?

Is this the one that I looked at the other day that says in big letters, "Letter of Authenticity from Lou Lampson"?
