Any collectors have an opinion about the Pedro martinez Red Sox jersey in the Grey Flannel auction. Shouldn't there be tailoring tags?

Which jersey? All I got was the home page of your website.
Re: Martinez...normally, he does use extra length in that time frame (2"). The strip tag is not as wide as usual, but I would like anyone with knowledge to chime in, as well. This one, while not automatically being dissed, does deserve scrutiny to be sure.

Hi Dave. I was referring to the Pedro jersey as well. Thanks for your input.

Went back and looked again and saw a glaring red flag: the year tag font resembles what Russell used from 1994-98, not the 1999 font.

What should the 1999 tag font look like?

Font should be more rounded, not the more blocked numerical font the Pedro has. I'm not computer-savvy enough to post a phot, but if I find the correct tag in scouring eBay, I'll return and cite the item number.

Hey Dave...
I think the following picture would help. I forget who originally posted this on the forum. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Wade. The style of font in a 1999 strip tag should be the same as that in the 2000 strip tag shown in Wade's post.
