What's best to use when trying to get an accurate weight of a bat?

Also, does game use on a bat change the weight of the bat from what it weighted when it was first made?

Thanks!

I have a buddy at the post office and if I come by when he isn't busy, he will weigh a couple bats for me. You might try that-- go to a post office with modern enough equipment to get a good reading, and ask if they'll help you out.

Keep in mind, bats are seldom exactly the weight listed when they are made (an order for 32 ounce bats may include some that are actually 32.3 ounces for example.) So a few ball marks, a little pine tar, a small nail or two probably wouldn't change things significantly.
