    Met Aaron Boooooooooone

Had a chance to meet Aaron Boone yesterday. He's one of the main guys I collect. It's always a little scary meeting a guy you're a fan of because if he's a jerk, that ruins it for you. But, Aaron was great! He was happy to sign everything I brought and talked to me a little bit. He liked a couple of the photos I had and said he had never seen them before. I told him I had his game used bat from the 2003 World Series and I asked him if he still had any of his Yankees jerseys. He said he had one, the one from the ALCS, in frame at his house. He added some nice inscriptions. It was a great day!

So now do I have to offer even more to get that Boone jersey back that you have owned for about 3 years now ?

Great items! Can I ask what type of pen you used on the jersey and on the balls?

        Mark.

Congrats. That is quite a haul. I was thinking about attending the show Saturday but the guest lineup wasn't completely to my liking. Of course when you have one of your favorites, thats all you need sometimes. I did attend the same show today with the guest lineup consisting of the Big Red Machine. I came home with my Riverfront seatback signed by the starting 8.

I was there for Boone on Saturday as well, and had him sign a complete strip of phantom 2003 Red Sox World Series tickets. Those should make for a neat display.

Thanks for the kind words. The marker for the jersey was a Decocolor Silver Paint Pen and the balls were a ballpoint that they provided at the show.

That's a great looking signed seatback!

R.J., post a pic of those signed tickets. Sound very cool.
