    L.S. Labeling Help

    He Guys,

Picked up a Keith Luuloa bat, which I think is from 1997, but I am not sure. The center brand labeling style seems correct for a 97 and the lack of the MLB logo would also point to 97, but I wasn't a 100% sure. Can anyone help me confirm this a 97 bat? There is also a lack of team name, under the block lettering. Myself and Ron think its because it an early career minor league bat. Does anyone know more about this or have an opinion. I am 100% sure it's a Pro bat, but just wanted to know more about this style of labeling.

    Thanks Scott

I think about all you can safely say it that it's a pre '98 minor league bat.

Minor leaguers issued LS bats during the 1990s had the company name on the third line of the barrel printing instead of a team name.
