    Giants jersey question, rawlings, wilson?

Hello, I was just curious if anyone knew what companies made SF Giants jerseys from 75-85, Wilson or Rawlings, or both?

    Thanks for any help,

      Russell:

From 1975-85, Wilson made nearly everything the Giants wore, in terms of uniforms. I have sees a couple of McAuliffe-made 1975 Giants homes over the years, but that's all. Rawlings took over for 1987-91 (when Rawlings had the MLB uniform supplier contract), and, after 1991, made a handful of Giants unies fior individual players upon request, most notably Barry Bonds, although I have seen road grey examples of Matt Williams, Glenallen Hill, Shawon Dunston and Rick Wilkins (one each) over the years.

Almost forgot...in 1981, black mesh jerseys that were used both in BP and games (with NOBs) were made by Alpha.
