This jersey may well have been worn somewhere, but not by Willie Mueller and not in 1978. Rawlings didn't make ANY Brewers gamers until 1987 and the beginning of the Rawlings contract. Sand-Knit was the Brewers supplier in '78. Also, the red Rawlings tag was not as wide in 1978 as this one is. The first jerseys I ever saw this wide red tag on were the 1990 White Sox TBTC unies.

Edgar - The Sox never wore that neck tag since that's a typical sign of a retail jersey.

Yeah that's what I thought but when I saw this jersey with the tag it got me thinking.
