Picked up a Prince Fielder Blonde SAM bat

Maple RW23
"Success"
Rideau Crusher

Just want to see if this is common for him to use "Success" instead of his name. ?

All my Prince bats have his name on them. I have never seen a Fielder bat without his name on the barrel. The only time his name isn't on the barrel is when he is using someone elses bat. I think this isn't a Prince Fielder bat but a Rickie Weeks bat used by Prince. Fielder has used Rickie's bats ever since they were teamates.

RW stands for Rickie Weeks
23 is Rickie uniform number

Just looked at my bat - the dates & all are the same. Assuming same batch.

The "Success" bats belong to Fielder. He also has "Success" stitched into his jerseys. As the story is told by the Brewers' clubhouse, Weeks was out injured and Fielder used one of his RW23 model bats and liked it. He had the Sam Bat company make a few for him and replace his name with "Success". These two guys are very close. Weeks is the godfather of one of Princes' kids.
