He played in the White Sox system for a few years and has been with the D-Backs (in Reno and with the MLB team) the last 2 seasons.

I'd been keeping an eye on that one and ended up winning it.

I also arranged to get another Allen bat thanks to this post, so keep 'em coming! I'd really like to get a jersey (esp from the D-Backs) if anyone's seen one...

Seems like Towers doesn't like him too much. Some of the AZ blogs are joking that Allen must've insulted Towers's wife or something! Rumor the Rays may be interested in him....

Brandon Allen was sent down to Triple A-Reno.
