Is that every Yankees player during the 2009 regular season, or "only" the World Series roster?

I've been working at getting a bat used in 2001 by every player on the 2001 Diamondbacks regular season roster, but I'm beginning to think that I'm over-reaching, just a bit. Going after only the WS roster players would reduce my current search from 18 to only 4, and I have non-'01 bats for three of those guys.

Who'd have ever thought that somebody's White Whale would be Albie Lopez?

Thanks for all the kind words. The bats include every position player that was on the Yankees roster any time throughout the season.

As for pitchers, I have AJ Burnett and also an Alfredo Aceves that isn't pictured. I didn't plan on going after the pitchers. If I come across some, I would pick them up.

Of the 23 bats, 20 of them are from 2009. The only three not from 09 are the Shelley Duncan (08), Cervelli (08), and the Miranda (10).

One that I thought would be tough was the Xavier Nady. I saw one on eBay before I planned on going after the entire team and didn't bid. Then another popped up. He only played 7 games.

The Jeter was my first 09 bat and the Matsui was the last.

2009 was a great season and I had the opportunity to attend all World Series games at Yankee Stadium.

Some great board members were very helpful in completing this and I appreciate it!
