I guess I'll start off with a 1987 orange alternate of pitcher Mike Kinnunen. For whatever reason, orange alternates from that era are very hard to find:

The other jersey is one that I posted on the Tigers GU thread last week, but thought I'd share here as it is a special jersey to me, as it was given to me by Bill Ripken. When Bill was a coach for the WBC a couple years ago, their equipment manager was from the Tigers and brought this jersey with him to give to Bill. When I met with Bill back in December, I mentioned that I didn't have a Tigers home/white jersey of his and he told me that he "would see what he could do." Well, a couple weeks ago, he emailed me and told me he had one for me & to come down and get it....

No strip tag, but it does have the correct 0062 wash tag...I've found a few other game jerseys from the 2007 season without tagging, plus, it originally came from Grey Flannel and their assessment was it's a gamer...with all of that, I was comfortable buying it without the normal tagging.

Picked up fairly not terribly expensive Bicentennial. Greg Pryor (1985 Royals World Series team). His first major league action was in 1976, but just a handful of at bats, so this is most likely a minor league bat, but possibly ML used maybe by All-Star teammate Toby Harrah as it has #11 on the knob.

I thought it was just going to be a poster but it's more like a print and on high quality picture paper. I don't think these are commercially available!

I think it really does come down to team preference and the style of jersey can also come into play. . I live in an area with several milb teams. One uses nameplates and one doesn't. The larger (more front office staff) team does do name plates on home jerseys only. They tell me it requires a great deal of time...esecially with the large turnover in players (callups, new signees, etc.). If the jersey is intended for a benefit jersey auction/one time wear...then I haven't ever seen either team put nob.

Nice jersey. Those were a good price. I paid 1,250 last year for mine from JO. He is off to a good start but its rare for a center to make the Hall fewest of any position but kicker.

I finally found one! Game used baseball from the Twins 8-22-2010 Sunday Night Baseball game vs the Angles. This was my 30th birthday game. I went with my wife and a good friend and had a blast. I've been on the hunt for a ball from this game for several months. It's not really a big deal to anyone but me haha.

This ball was pitched by Twins closer Matt Capps to pinch hitter Reggie Wiltis in the 9th inning. Foul tipped ball that hit Mauer. He was the final batter in the game.

I’m pumped to finally add a 1992 Olympic worn Team USA jersey. I got Charles Johnson's white pinstripe with some awesome dirt stains. I could not find a good shot without the chest protector to photo match. This shot is promising with a few possible seam matches on the shoulders but I'd like to do better. I also added what appear to be game issued Team USA pants from the same year of Willie Adams and will go nicely with my Adams jersey. Lots of blue ink marks and a good coat of mota stick on the hande. This bat is uncracked and is signed by him. BMH says that Ryan only ordered 7 of these bats in May 2008 so that makes this bat RARE.

I am pretty sure that the first picture shows Pete in 1986 holding a black Mizuno bat with a band of tape above the handle. In 1986 he did not put tape ringlets on the handle.

Designed to suggest a jersey style from 2021, it's regarded as maybe the ugliest Cardinals jersey ever. :) The MDA jersey is the only red jersey ever worn by the Birds in a regular-season game. Unlike the mesh BP jerseys worn for years, it's a regular knit jersey. After years of looking for these, I acquired both within two days of each other. It shows a precedent. I doubt there were huge varieties of black grips during the early 70s. Your lack of having this bat in a photo does not mean it would not have existed.The signature by Pete was done recently, as I talked to the owner that got it. We can leave the discussion as to Pete's sincerity or lack thereof when doing signings to another time, but he did see the bat recently.
Not sure your motivations, but man, you are exhausting....

Great looking cleats.Nate is yet another steelers player they should not have let go.But then i think there is a lone line of current players like santonio holmes,allen faneca,joey porter,willie parker,larry foote (the first time), and yes even plaxico-thats right i said it,the guy was a talent.Anyways,great birthday gifts from your family.....
Part two of AWESOME birthday gifts from my family this month (the Hines Ward signed game used gloves were the other gift). A pair of Nate Washington signed, BCA game worn cleats off of NFL Auction. Of course Nate was drafted by the Steelers, and helped them win Super Bowls XL and XLIII. Any Steelers game worn gear, even ex-ones, are a tough find. So I welcome these into my collection!

Thanks as always for the kind words, Jobathenut! Yeah, Nate was missed this Super Bowl (like that 4th down at the end of the game). Just when he finally started catching those tough throws, they let him sign elsewhere! I would add Chris Hope to that long list, along with Dan Kreider of ex-players the team is missing. Though I was happy they reacquired Randle-El (who did have a clutch Super Bowl, like he always does) Larry Foote and Bryant McFadden (ehh), they always seem to lose more than they should. I still don't know why when DC let go of FWP they didn't scoop him back up. Oh well.
