Hi Dave--
A review of Pete's factory records from his playing career, 4/8/63 to 8/17/86 shows no documented orders of any model R79 bats at any time. No orders appear to Rose or any promo entity post-career between 9/26/86 to10/29/87 and between 5/15/95 through 7/18/97. I do not have any post-career shipping records between 10/29/87 and 5/15/95. Perhaps jim can fill in those blanks.
As you know, Rose was one of the most mass marketed (and self-promoted) athletes of his generation.
