These jerseys ARE NOT GAME USED. One of the mods should merge this thread with the one from a few months ago on this. JO set the record straight therein about what the Bengals were selling and what they were not allowed to under the contract between the team and JO.

True, but as JO said the Bengals are allowed to sell some game worn so would just do your homework before buying. I am sure some are issued and some are worn. I have not seen a jersey and cannot verify either way, just passing on the info for those who would want to investigate. I would assume the lesser players have a much better chance of being worn as per JO the Bengals can still sell non Tier 1 players. Not to mention, having 7 TO jerseys seems way too high for game worn action. The person on the phone seemed pleasant enough to help, but since i was only interested in two players I didn't inquire what "Torn" really meant, etc....

A few of those sound like some of the jerseys that I saw in Pro Shop back in December when I went in after I got done at Redsfest.

There were some game used jerseys for sale and the Odom (torn) jersey is really messed up, to say the least. There are a few pieces of fabric barely holding it together.

In person visits validate that the Bengals old "Game Worn" section has changed dramatically since JO Sports' contract. But to be clear, the Pro Shop and related personnel still have good people. If there are other Bengal collectors out there, please do reach me: plettner@fuse.net

The Atkins jersey they have in their now is pretty sweet, and I considered buying it. This year, the only ones I bought were at the $300 price point.

I was also in there recently , several of the jerseys show good use , they had 4 or 5 TO jerseys and only 1 of them had any use and the year tag in the collar was 07 , most of the TO jerseys showed no use and none was tagged 10 in the collar .

The year tagging and the use do not go hand and hand from my observation, but it would seem the price points and the use very much do. With very few exceptions the $750 jerseys appeared to lack use. Perhaps such is explained by financial motivation to produce inventory.
