Has anyone out there got photographic evidence of a game-worn 1989 Padres Roberto Alomar road jersey like the one shown above from the current Legendary Auctions event?

Between Howard Wolf and I, all the game images we were able to uncover had the NOB as R. ALOMAR, as both Sandy Sr. and Jr. were there in 1989 as well.

I have a brown San Diego warmup with no year tag. My recollection is that there is no "R", but I am not home to verify.

Could it have been an 89 jersey recycled into a 90 jersey? Sandy Jr was with Cleveland in 90.

I suppose it's possible, but a good authenticator would have addressed and explained that irregularity.

No, the two Sandys didn't wear #12.
