I passed up a 1901 cabinet photo of a football team from I believe Vermont. The ball had they year 1901 painted on it as well as the word Defenders. One of the players had an elaborate D on his chest.
I still may go back and get it if its still available.
Anyone know what team this could be? Ever heard of a Defenders team?
