Now, sometimes they will state game issued, used or be posted like this. Are these simply game cut, and signed?
The true reason I ask, a good friend of mine (we used to work together for years) asked my opinion on one of these types of jerseys, from a dealer he is comfortable with. I actually went with him the other day to check it out myself. The PSA/DNA of course matches from NFL auctions signature wise, but it is cut and has all the proper tagging that would infer game issued at the least. However, no mention on the verification of any of this, just signed authentic jersey.
Guy is asking for $275, and he is a huge fan of the team (Raven, sadly :p), and the player is not easy to get signed.
I felt it was a good price, but was hopeful for some input before telling him to go commit to it.
He is torn between this and a Miggy game used signed bat + a Jeremy Gutherie game worn hat for the same total price (needless to say, we both live near Baltimore). We know those are both gamers, since we have a mutual friend who works for the O's that gets us deals direct from the equipment manager.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
