If anyone is bidding and looking to lessen their costs, I'm interested in 3 of the lesser bats in that lot. Feel free to email me at donfan23 at aol dot com.

Thanks,

R.J.

I was just looking at that Lot. Doesn't a Jeter alone sell near $2,000? I would expect a lot of last minute bids.

Hmmm, my, my, my...

I don't see any indication of who does Paragon authentications, but we've just seen a gazillion post thread on GUU that was the result, at least in part, of a "bat expert" who does not have access to H & B records.

Go figure.

Nope, I see it too... and no written indication of the BP tape removed from the Soriano either.

Clearly BP tape on the Soriano but still game used.

FYI: The listing has been updated:

IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE DEREK JETER BAT HAD A LINE UNDER THE 125. WE HAVE REPLACED THAT BAT WITH ANOTHER JETER THAT IS SIGNED AND HAS LIGHT USE WITH A NICE COAT OF MOTO STICK ON THE HANDLE. BAT IS FROM 2003/2008. WE APOL0GIZE FOR THIS MISTAKE. PLEASE EMAIL KEITH@PARAGONAUCTIONS FOR PHOTO'S.

Paragon just emailed me with this: Keith has replaced Jeter Bat with another that is signed.

Are those cirlce holo's from MLB or does Paragon put their own on there?
Mark.

Either earlier MLB or more likely Steiner, both used circle holograms at one point.

Those are definitely Steiner holograms as you can see the plate logo in the center of them. But yes, both MLB and Steiner have used circle holograms in the past. I do not believe that Steiner issued paperwork with all of these holograms, as I believe most, if not all, are unnumbered. Hope this helps!

This is posted in their Auction Rules section:

Authenticity
We will be using James Spence Authentication services for autographs and PSA/DNA services for game-used bat authentication. These items will include their respective LOA or COA. Jerseys and other equipment will be authenticated in-house and/or by one of our experts and will come with a Paragon LOA.
