I was thinking about going one more bid. How high were you going? Nice bat and would look great with a silver sig.

I went to 110 but with buyers prem and shipping that makes it about 140 so you got it at about 150? Sounds about the top end for a McGee. It was nice though, congrats.

What did you find out? I'd be interested if you decide to part with it. I have a Herr rookie bat if you collect other Cardinals.

Checking to see if I can find McGee's uniform numbers in the minor leagues. The bat has his 51 on both ends. Can't imagine this would be his number in the minor leagues. I have some leads so I'll let you know what I find.

Think we have traced the bat to an order placed in Sept 82 or Feb 83 based on the uniform number. Maybe it's a World Series bat! Ha!
