70 - 71 Reds Jacket

Zanebats has a 70 -71 Reds size 36 jacket on E-bay ( Sorry do not have Link ) Did I read incorrectly or was it implied that the jacket is being represented as being Clay Carrolls ?

Yes, it looks like it being sold as Carroll's. Is there an issue with that? Please fill me in. I owned a Bobby Tolan jacket similar to this one for many years and the only difference is that Tolan's number was written in black marker on the tag. The number on this one appears to be sewn. What are your thoughts?? Thanks for your help.

The jacket has nothing to do with Clay Carroll...the 36 on the tag is a size. Any wear would have most likely been from a batboy.

Tag in question...that's where Wilson puts the size. Any player/year ID would be strip tagged or hand-inscribed.

I would think it would be fairly obvious Jeff that the 36 is part of the Wilson tag , that is my issue with it .

Yes, you are correct. It appears that the seller also recognized that fact as the description has changed.
