Fridge Gets SB Ring Back Thanks To 10 Year Old

Good minute read on a 10-year old who bought Fridge's SB ring, then gave it to him FOR FREE!

Ten-year-old Cliff Forrest returned William Perry's Super Bowl XX ring to the former Chicago Bears defensive tackle.
    Cheers,
    Jack

While certainly a "feel good" story, today's Sports Collectors Daily is reporting that the ring is likely a replica.

Thats my guess. I think the real thing would be more than $8500, right??

Many years ago, Josten's, a Minneapolis based company had a display in the Twin Cities airport featuring some of their products. One item was a copy of Fridge's Super Bowl ring. The thing was massive.

Makes you wonder how many are out there. Fridge had his and Josten's had at least one for promotional purposes.
Wanted: Minnesota Twins throwback or special event jerseys.

If you read the article, the "real" ring sold for more than $25,000 in a Mastro Auction a few years back
