Tuesday I picked up a huge lot of 1950-60s women's softball uniforms and ephemera from the AAU and ASA - there are at least 50-60 programs, 20-30 full uniforms (including belts/shorts/jerseys all tagged Spalding)-ticket stubs -posters -patches and other assorted items -even a pair of ADIDAS high top shoes that I'm sure are 1970s. The unis are all somewhat dirty and dusty, but I think I can clean them up pretty good. I know this is sorta off topic for this forum, but I know there are guys here that dabble in a wide array of stuff. I paid $13 for the whole lot.

Obviously the price was great and the quality looks very high...congratulations. Assessing value is difficult. Softball memorabilia is sort of the red headed step child of sports collecting. I think uni collectors might like a few sample pieces from various leagues, and your satin jerseys have great eye appeal. Also, consider there are millions of softball players around the country. Surely some collect softball memorabilia and would purchase items. I would start placing lots on ebay. You will quickly have a handle on value. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Mike, I guess I'll lot a bunch of the stuff up and go to ebay with it. I figured I wasn't going to go wrong with the price I got it at. The shoes are probably the jewell of the lot.
