    Prewar baseball trophies

    Hello folks,
I recently started getting into trophies and have acquired a few from the 40's and 50's but only have a few earlier ones. The figural ones are my favorites, but here are my oldies. One is a Goldsmith loving cup for the Fraternal Baseball League, the other is a wreath with 3 crossed bats (which I've seen in different variations, and the other is a tiny loving cup for a Mississippi high school team. I had a pitcher figural but traded it. Ah.....memories. Please post some of your early trophies!

I went antique shopping today and ran across a catalog for a jeweller from 1931 which had a section of about 10 pages of trophies...tons of figurals. Unfortunately the dealer wanted $175 for the catalog. I doubt they'd let me borrow it to photocopy the trophy pages.

I did manage to pickup a Wilson A2294 Peanuts Lowery glove for a whole $2. And a Harvey Kuenn little league bat with a Lincoln Little Chiefs stamping which fits in nicely with my Lincoln Chiefs collection.
