Is this any good? I have no clue on Dodgers items. The auction says it is from the early '80's, but doesn't list a year. It says it is Goodman & Sons jersey and was recently discovered in a collection. From the picture, I can tell the jersey is a 44. Here are the two pictures from the auction:

Re: Early 1980’s Fernando Valenzuela
Im interested in this jeresey as well. Here are are a few questions for you Dodgers fans.
How long did Goodman & Sons produce jerseys for the Dodgers?
Where the wash instructions differ from year to year?
From looking at the site What year would this jersey be?http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.o...ar&increment=9
Any additional info would help too
Thanks!! Joe C. -

The Dodgers did not tag their 1980s Goodman jerseys, except for the ones worn in the 1981 postseason. They made almost all Dodgers knits from 1972-86.
The jersey would be either 1982 or 1985, as the other years that Valenzuela pitched there and wore a Goodman uniform found the team wearing sleeve patches that would date the jersey.
Hope this helps.
