Can anyone confirm that the Bulls did not have the Berto armband early in the 91-92 season?

I was at the dedication of the Berto Center and still have my program from the event. Inside, it says Sheri passed away 11/23/91 and that the Bulls wore black patches on their jerseys in her memory "during the balance of the season." I believe the Bulls played 11 games before her passing and played at Denver on the day of her passing.
