Why are Swisher items so expensive?

I know he's popular with Yankee fans, but what about in Oakland and Chicago? Do those items demand as much?

I've seen his stuff go for (or at least priced) for more than say someone like Edmonds, who was a better player and played many years in a great baseball town.

No idea?? I know he a Yankee, but come on. I'll wait till after he is no longer a Yankee and the prices are a quarter of what they are now.
