I'm wondering if any of the Mattingly collectors have ever since a 1990 LVS that Mattingly used without the trade name on the barrel. I know that was Mattingly injury plagued season and he was limited to under 400ABS, so maybe he had an order in before the restriction was imposed. I know from reading these forums, he also started using Cooper and Worth bats.
