Ebay / Buyer Question

Long story short I had a buyer (who bought from me before) end two auctions early with buy it now (one on May 3rd) and emailed me (on May 3rd) he was away was it all right to pay a week later. I replied I had no problem and even mentioned if he changes his mind just let me know I will just relist. I have sent out two invoices (no response) along with medssages asking what is going on, then he ended a third auction last week (again no response to any messages).

I could care less if he does not want any of this I just want to relist, can I do this without getting negative feedback?

Any buyer can leave negative feedback for any reason they want. That is eBay for ya!

The only way I know of that will prevent the buyer from leaving negative feedback is if you file a non-paying bidder report with eBay and they refund your fees. Ebay will give the bidder a strike and prevent him/her from leaving feedback.

You can also send the bidder a notice of mutual cancellation.

Other this these, I know of no other way. Anyone else know?

After that you may want to do a "block bidder" so that you don't keep getting your time wasted...

You can call the bidder if you want - If their phone number doesn't show up in the eBay Order Details, look it up in the Search: Advanced: Find Contact Information.

You'll need to enter their eBay ID and item number, but eBay will email you their phone number within a few minutes.

If you send a mutual cancellation the bidder can say they want to complete the transaction and screw you out of getting your listing fees back. Not a good idea.

I don't think they offer this anymore - I believe they have to pay or there is no closing of the case.

Also, when this did happen in the past, you have to call eBay and manually have them return your fees. Again, I do not believe this is an option anymore.

"Cancel transaction" is still there... I personally never had to call ebay to get my fees refunded. However if they refuse to agree to cancel, then you don't get the refund, but you can still file a non-paying bidder I think.

Yes, the Cancel Transaction option has the option to complete the sale, but a Non-Paying Bidder Notification cannot be canceled unless payment is made.
