Somehow I'm JUST a bit skeptical about this jersey...

The seller is a solid guy and he's also a forum member. I recently bought a Cal road jersey from him that showed great wear. I do know that he has purchased a number of Cal gamers directly from the team at their semi-annual tent sale. I met him in person at the tent sale held in 2010. I'm assuming he probably got this Rodgers at a past tent sale but cannot say for sure. Hopefully if he sees this post he can comment.

Only reason I was skeptical is because I think that's just a REALLY good price for a jersey of a top 5 player in the NFL who plays for a historical franchise. I mean a lot of things look right but I just am amazed it's that affordable.

Double P, the only thing that comes to mind is "priced to sell"...he's got a couple of offers so someone in game used land is interested!

Not saying good or bad. The size I questioned.

The jersey has to be from 2003. Cal outlined the yellow stripe with white in 2004. Aaron may well have worn more than one home jersey during 2003, but notice the placement of the Pac-10 patch close to the yellow stripe in the Getty photos (Sep 27 and Nov 15).

Even more troubling, look at the 'G' and the 'S' on the nameplate.

In fairness to the seller, he indicated in his text that the nameplate was removed, and that he had "a Rodgers nameplate" to include for the winner...it wasn't stated that the loose nameplate was the original.

In any event, the jersey sold Monday afternoon.

Oooops. I see the seller explains the nameplate. Sorry for that part.
