Re: Mighty Bats
Here are some shots of my St Louis Cardinals "Mighty Bat". Bat has not seen any use, just a small blemish to the left of "KC". The bat has R161 in sliver sharpie on the knob and barrel end. Whether the KC 388 if an equal to the LS R161, I don't know. Knob has a manufacture stamp of 4 (34") then "388" for the model number and then a 1 for 31 oz. ?? The barrel nomenclature and logo are etched just below the black surface.

Re: Mighty Bats
Thanks David and woodbat for the pics and info.
I noticed in the article that Jason posted, it mentioned Tony Gwynn . If the "1" on my bat is in reference to the weight, I am wondering if it could be a bat Gwynn used in BP or Spring Training. Are there any Gwynn collectors out there that have a Gwynn Mighty KC Bat ?? Or know of Gwynn using a Mighty KC Bat ??Comment

Re: Mighty Bats
Does anyone know Mike Holmes, the founder of Mighty KC Bats? Or know how to get a hold of him? I am trying to locate some contact info on him. It looks like he is still in the Kansas City area and is a VP at a financial business with no website. Any help would be great. Thanks!Comment
