ebay: Red Sox jerseys, spring training or minor leagues?
On ebay currently are a couple of gray jerseys with "Red Sox" on the front, tagged Wilson from the late 70's/80's and show wear/use. No name on back, just the numbers. [I think these same jerseys were part of about 10 sold as unidentified Red Sox spring training jerseys a little while back on ebay also, but can't find the auction link.]
This seller has now ID'd the players based on the Red Sox roster from the era. He has one listed as Carlton Fisk's game worn jersey here:
When I saw them originally up for auction I believed them to be minor league jerseys (in fact, another seller has a similar jersey for sale on ebay currently that is listed as a Bristol Red Sox jersey). Was I correct? Or are they actually some short lived style of spring training jersey?
