Pujols Bat Bag w/ Lock

The Cardinals are in Washington DC for a few days playing the Nationals so I inquired about the chance of getting any Pujols items.

The clubhouse attendant said that Pujols bat bag had a lock on it.

Now that is smart inventory management. I have heard that Barry Bonds does the same thing.

That is interesting. Any idea how many bats a player brings on the road with them....I could see somebody just stealing his whole bag now.....

Forum readers-
Both Ripken and McGwire were also forced to do similar things with not only their bats, but all of their equipment when on the road.
