Just wondering if someone could give me an opinion on this jersey. I am no expert in the area of football gamers, but would consider this jersey a grail if real! Just wondering if it is game used or a retail jersey. I know this seller has been discussed here before. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

I don't know about this specific jersey, but the seller has been discussed on this forum in the past.

Good luck.

Not sure if he peddles fake unis or not, but his reserve prices are always way too high.

This guy's a bigger weasel than I imagined. He won this jersey auction last month for $308.

Now he's re-selling it for $2,000!

slats7,

Just curious how this guy is a weasel? He obviously has a business where he buys stuff for low and tries to get as much out of his money as he can. If you don't want to pay his prices that one thing, but to call him a "weasel"? I don't get it...

What word would you prefer? "Crook"? It takes a hell of a lot nerve to set an exorbitant BIN price when buyers know what you paid for it. No one in the right mind thinks the jersey skyrocketed in value over the span of a month. He has the right to ask for $2K, and I have the right to call him out on his naked greed.

in the past, he has also bought a number of game issued Cowboys jerseys from Steiner and listed them on ebay as gameworn. Of course none of them come with Steiner letters as they would say they were game issued. I think calling him a weasel or a crook is being nice. Being greedy is one thing, but committing fraud is even worse.

I just noticed another phony baloney auction of his.

This purports to be an authentic Robert Newhouse jersey, but Newhouse never wore anything of the kind. The Cowboys switched to thin numerals and equally thin shoulder tv numbers in 1982 and wore them through 1985. The jersey he's auctioning features thick numbers on the front, back and shoulders--a style that didn't arrive until the 1986 season. Newhouse retired after the '83 season, so there's no way he could have worn this style of jersey. Also, the horizontal seam was much higher up on the 1982-83 v-neck collars than what we see on the faux jersey.
