Re: Cano Game Issued Cap - Steiner - Need Help!
Can't help on the photomatch, but the item is stated as "issued'
even though its apparent it has heavy wear because the authentication
process occurred after the season. Many times MLB will authenticate
an item, even if its obviously been used, as "issued" if they don't
see the item come off a players back or from a batch directly after
a game unless there was some sort of an arrangement made.
(i.e. I have bought Yankees Spring Training stuff that was authenticated
as "game-used" months into the season so I assume there was an
arrangement made with the team and the authenticators.)
Hope this helps.

Also hard to make a definitive match but the photo provided
bu the seller looks to me like a possible match. (2 dirt marks on brim)
Otherwise your best bet is to check http://www.gettyimages.com/

Hi Michael,
I am the seller of the Cano cap. Here is a better image of the photo we found of Cano wearing the cap from October 3, 2010 vs. the Red Sox. Take a close look at the NY symbol (the dark marks/spots on the white) I think you will see that they match up spot on. The hat is filthy, never owned a hat that showed so such much... it even smells!
As far as the cert stating issued, what others have stated is correct. This happens when MLB is not present at the exact time the item is received or when items are received after the season ends.
