    1995 Jim Edmonds G/U Jersey

    Hi,

I am not very familiar with the any early 90s Angels jerseys so I don't know what the tagging looks like or what anything on it looks like. I was wondering if anyone on the forum could help me here to determine if this is a legit Edmonds jersey. THANKS

it's a BP jersey and it may have been recycled through the minors.
other than that, it looks ok. be aware that in 1995, the angels were using 3-5 different styles of BP jersey. they had this one for home games, a grey version for road games, and then 3 different navy blue BP jerseys - a buttondown, half-zip, and 2-button pullover. the navy blue were made by majestic whereas the white and grey versions were made by russell.

if you look at the seller's current inventory, they have several of the grey/road versions of this BP jersey including Edmonds' 1993 BP jersey.

        anthony,

i forgot to mention, as a 1995 jersey it should have the 35th anniversary patch which the angels wore in 1995. they wore them on their bp jerseys as well. either the patch was removed from this jersey or never applied. if it was never applied i wonder if it was strictly a spring training jersey.
in the past, the seller sold a 1995 angels lee smith bp and it had the 35th anniversary patch. it was also tagged like this one. so i wonder what happened to the patch on this one. like i said, either it was removed or it was just a spring training jersey. maybe removed to recycle through the minors?
