This is a bat used by Paul Molitor during the last season of his career (1998). It is an extremely rare bat. Paul had a contract with LS throughout his career, so his LS bats had his signature burned into the barrel. After 1997, Paul wasn't sure if he was going to play another season or not. He ended up deciding to play in 1998, but he did not have a contact with LS at the beginning of the season. This is why his name appears in block letters instead of his signature. The bat is uncracked, but shows heavy use. There are deep ball marks, stitch marks, and ink transfers on the barrel (righty, label up). There is grain swelling in this location as well. Paul's #4 appears on the knob.
