Another case of poor research

I attempted to contact the seller regarding this item, but eBay declined to forward my email.

The problem with this Red Sox jersey? Not that it isn't game-worn (it is), but that, for my entire lifetime (and before that for at least a couple of decades), MLB Boston Red Sox gamers always had a BOSTON front, not RED SOX. Potential manufacturer. and font color inconsistencies also rule out this item being a c.1991 MLB Red Sox gamer.

I posted a similar post on one of these jerseys a few weeks back (listed as Carlton Fisk's Red Sox spring training jersey)... They're either New Britain or Bristol Red Sox and have been popping up frequently on ebay as ST Red Sox jerseys.
