The Lucas, based on the tagging photo, looks proper to me. There aren't sufficient photos of the tagging on the Rose nor the Trillo to use the tagging as an indicator for authenticity.

Thanks for you input. The tags on the Lucas look good to me, as well. It's the white buttons that are of concern. If the tagging is good, the Expos could have used white buttons for their 1984 road blues? The other 1984 road blues have uncertain tagging, to be sure, but they do have white buttons.

Does anyonoe have a 1984 road blue that has blue buttons--like the Mitchell & Ness throwback?

The buttons are a glossy silver/gray color, thats why the appear to look white from a distance and in photos. I have a 1987 Expos road blue and have seen in hand a 1983 road jersey, same style buttons. Thanks.

Recently, I saw 2 1984 road blue Expos jerseys. One had tagging that was exactly the same as the Lucas jersey; the other just had a Rawlings tag with a 1984 flag tag in the same position as the Lucas jersey:

Both had white buttons. The buttons had a slightly sliverish sheen on the top.
