    George Brett Model R79 on Ebay

    A friend of mine who is not a forum member is interested to see if a George Brett bat currently on eBay matches his ordering records. The bat appears to be a 1980-1983 labeling period and is model R79 with a brown (hickory?) finish. The bat is also 34" long according to the auction. Any help would be appreciated.

      ironmanfan - there is no record of Brett ordering Hickory model R79 model bats during the 80-83 time period. Also - Brett never ordered Hickory bats of any model during his entire career. If I can assist in any other way, please let me know. Jim - jcaravello@nc.rr.com
