I am about to invest in framing a few jerseys and am looking for some different ideas or looks to make my collection stand out. Anyone have any framed jersey pics to share?

Re: Show off your framed jerseys
Hi! Framing jerseys is a very tricky business. Professionally done framed jerseys will cost you around 300 to 600 dollars. Its very beautiful indeed. But you cant touch nor even smell the jersey anymore. You just look at it. I am the type that smell and touches my gamers, even sleep with me from time to time. So, I put my gamers in a frame where I can easily remove it and out it back afterwards.....Just like this...Which costs around 75 to 100 dollars....Goodluck my friend! Cheers, Joe

I suppose its subjective but I havent seen an equal to the quality, craftsmanship and affordability of Lake City Framing. The Sonics logo is 5-layer.

Re: Show off your framed jerseys
I started out getting some of my jerseys framed but finally decided to just get cases so I could have access to and rotate jerseys in and out of the display. I ordered ten cases from Homeplate Heroes and could not be happier with the results. They are not cheap but comparable to the cost of framing and they will work with you if you order a significant number.
Here is a pic of a Sabathia TBTC jersey I had framed by Sports Gallery out of California. It turned out great but I regret not having the flexibility to switch jerseys out.
Below is a pic of three of the new cases I had made by Homeplate Heroes. The angle is not ideal as the cases are hung pretty high but they look good and I can change the jerseys out pretty easily.

Re: Show off your framed jerseys
If you get your stuff professionally framed remember that not all frame shops have experience framing sports memorabilia. I would see if they have examples.
Here are a couple I've gotten done, although they're not game used, just signed authentics. I like to have a photo framed with the jersey. I also like to have the add a pocket to the back to hold the COA or LOA if there is one.
The Yzerman was around $400 and the Jeter was about $300Comment

Re: Show off your framed jerseys
I only have TWO Jerseys in Frames - my Two Modano Stars Jerseys - and both of those frames can be opened and change out the jerseys.
I got these years ago (1999 maybe) from a shop that is no longer open in Denver for about $80.00 each.
But for me personally, I prefer mannequins:

Hey Scott
Can you email me some pics of the Hamiltons? I'd like to have mine framed like that.

Here is my Cal Ripken framed jersey. It was done by Wallstars and it is amazing. It also has UV Glass, dbl suede matting, ect. It cost $250 to have it done, but that was about 10 years ago.

Re: Show off your framed jerseys
Got this at a charity auction. It was not offered as game used or anything. I bid the opening bid, and no one else topped me. When I looked at it the next morning I was surprised to see it was in all probability a game used jersey..there are repair marks and some stains. Garrard changed to the other type of jersey material mid-season and I spent most of the next morning looking for a photo match to no avail. Still a good piece for what I paid.Comment
