2001 Lance Berkman Black Astros Jersey - eBay

I just though that I would post this information just incase anyone was thinking about placing a bid on this jersey.

The Astros only wore the 40th year patch on their home jerseys in 2001. There were no patches at all on the sleeves of their away jerseys that year. As you can see, this is a road jersey with "Houston" across the chest. The home version of the jersey would read "Astros" across the chest.

Also, the Astros used nameplates on their 2001 black jerseys. As you can see from the listing, this jersey has the name sewn directly on the jersey.

The numbers are also incorrect. See the 1 on the hidalgo jersey compared to the one on the ebay berkman. Authentic lettering has the 1 rounded as it extends to the left. Berkman "game used" has stright lines, not rounded as it should be. Plenty of things wrong with this jersey.
