Nothing outstanding, but I did pick up a 2005 Vikings gamer w/ an anniversary patch from JO for what I thought to be a very good price. Will post pics tomorrow.

Is it worth attending for baseball game jerseys/bats/etc.? or is it mostly the same sellers as previous years, gamewornuniforms, hartel, etc..?

I went last night (Wed) after work, there were at least 10-15 dealers that I saw that had GU items from multiple sports.

I picked up a Chris Harris Bears home jersey from the NFC Championship game for a great price. They had a ton of stuff there, some for great prices.

There were quite a few auction houses there, they had some great displays of a wide variety of items.

I thougth $20 to get in the door was assinine, add that to parking and you've spent about $35 to get in the door.

Was this from the guy who had pretty much every pair of gloves Urlacher and Greg Olsen wore in the past 5 years? I am contemplating buying a pair of the Urlachers.

Did you see the dealer that had all the older Eagles and 49ers jerseys? They were reasonably priced but didn't have time to sort through them as the wife was with me.

I didn't pick up any game used today but what did catch my eye, besides the museum quality pieces the aution houses were previewing, were the 60's era A's vests that Hartel was selling. They had dozens in white, gray and gold.....very cool.

I am going back tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday...and I don't think I saw this booth? Do you remember what company they were and where (approximately) they were located?

Preston - The guy that had all the gloves is Bergie Sports. He is a nice guy and gets all the stuff direct. I picked up Greg Olsens pink cancer awareness cleats and a pair of G-Regs gloves as well. He was selling G-Regs gloves signed for $25 a pair!!! I know he is no longer a Bear, but at those prices, I couldnet pass it up.

I don't remember the exact location, but when you come in the main entrance, they are about 2-3 rows back and 2-3 rows to the right. Their racks are 3 rows tall and very long, they have plastic containers in front of their booth filled with bargain GU items.

That Bergie's booth is pretty close the JO booth.

I picked up a couple new Bears jerseys (photos to come after I visit camp to try to get them signed on Wed.) My good friend Rob hooked me up with a home Peanut Tillman labeled as being from 2005 (just photo matched it to the NFL Championship game against the Saints which paved the way for the Super Bowl), a home Nick Roach from '09 vs. the Eagles and an away Chris Harris from 2010 vs the Dolphins (this game marked the 700th regular season win in Bears history - the Urlacher, Peppers and Cutler from this game are on display at the Hall of Fame in Canton, OH). Pretty damn good day at the National. Thanks again ROB!

I picked up an old county stadium seat. Seat number 13 of course. In a way it was game used. There is always something you never plan on getting.

I agree. I helped a friend all week (except Thursday, I slept all day Thursday) and I couldn't believe it was $20.00 admission. I used to go to coin and currency shows in the same building, and they gave free admission to the public. Why do they need to charge $20.00 to get into a trade show trying to collect more money from the public? It is insane and poor marketing.

The dealer tables and corporate booths are no bargains to rent for the week. If they wanted to charge $5.00 to get it, that would be reasonable, but $20.00 make it hard for a family of four to attend the event.

Very poor marketing showing a lack of respect for the exhibitors.

Could that have been the booth gamewornuniforms.com ?

A Duerson and a Latta? I'd love to see those pics, great players. Probably cost a pretty penny right there in Chicago!

The only thing that I saw was a pair of GU original Jordan's, forgot who had them though. There of course was probably more since it was in Chicago, but was not looking too hard.

I had a great time Saturday and Sunday, but next time that I go I'm gonna plan on going all the days. Wasn't able to absorb it all in in just 2 days. Didn't take my time to look at everything. I'm sure I missed something I would have wanted.:(

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good time. I'm kinda mad I didn't end up going, but it's probably a good decision as I probably would've spent way too much money.

Definately planning on going next year. I think it's in Cleveland! Which is great since I grew up about an hour away. I think I should start setting money aside each month beginning now! Would love to go in there with a pretty hefty budget and snag some dream pieces!
