majestic wash tag # question

did Majestic retail BP jerseys ever have the A0065 wash tag # on the inside or is that strictly designated for shirts issued to the teams?

That should be a team-only code (2003-06 BP jerseys), but there are rare occasions where a team jersey ends up in a retail selection or vice-versa. If the jersey you have is questionable, it's also possible that a private party made someone out of no one by customizing a blank, the likes of which occasionally surface on eBay.

it's actually a 2003 alfonso soriano all-star warm-up jersey. initially, i thought that it was just a nice replica, but then i noticed the A0065 wash tag, which i generally associate with team issued jerseys

i know that majestic sized the team issued jerseys with #'s in 2004, but i havent the foggiest about '03. the reason why i bring that up is because this one is an xl

i was mostly curious if this was a retail jersey or maybe some kind of GI that someone had customized after the fact...xl also seems way too big for sori

My 2003 All Star jersey is a number size (50). It also has a MLB holo.

Not sure why it would have the 0065 tag, maybe the ones at the fan fest sold directly my MLB have that tag since they are ordered by MLB.

None of my All Star games for any of the years have tags in the neck. Looks like your's is a nice authentic replica.
