I need some help with this game used MiLB (Cal League) jersey please!

I recently purchased this game used California League jersey for a great price. It's a Salinas Spurs jersey, but notice the newer tags... The previous owner said that it came from a turn back the clock game "a few years ago". I didn't know the Cal League ever did those... If this is true, then it would have been the Inland Empire 66ers since the franchise was once the Salinas Spurs. Can someone please tell me if this jersey is legit, or if the guy just bought some patches and put them on a newer jersey. Better yet, can someone help with the year it was used and the player as well? Thanks! Anything helps.

P.S. Is there a website that has past minor league rosters with players' numbers? I'm having trouble finding one.

Yes, the minor leagues do alot of TBTC jerseys (along with theme nights and ever some wearing throwbacks to the major league teams). Actually they have by far more TBTC's out there than anything else.

One option would be to check the news section of the current team's website, they often have press releases showing the special games they will be playing. The information may come up on a google search as well. If all else fails, you can try e-mailing the team.

For websites with minor league rosters, I have yet to find any at all.....still looking to place a few jerseys I have myself.

FWIW The Lowell Spinners have a section on their page that lists all the previous players by jersey number. I wish more teams did this!
