Does anyone know the history of the FLAG GULF war flags on the nfl helmets, from what I read the NFL put them on the helemts for the last 2 game sof the 1990 season, is that correct? Any further history or background on that would be nice to know as well.

Hey...I did a little research on this tonight. I just finished a Phoenix Cardinals helmet that I customized to a player from that '90 season. I saw that during the earlier games, there was no flag. The later games had the flag. They were affixed to the rear left of the helmet. That would make sense that they were put on later in the '90 season. Let me know if you find anything else out.
