How lucky was Charles "Smoke" Mason who was handed Joe DiMaggio's game used rookie uniform uniform when he arrived for workouts with a Yankee farm team in 1938? The story of him being given the uniform is part of an SCP Auctions/Sothebys press release you can find in the "News" section of this site.
For those on the site who may be planning to win the uniform, I thought I would post a couple of close-up images for you. I will apologize in advance for how large the files are but, if you can bear with the size, you will almost feel like you have the actual uniform right in front of you (not to mention I need to pick up some photo editing software).
