Blue Jays Dave Stieb game used cap

Can anyone tell me (ballbark) what this would be worth?

As you can imagine very few of these exist.

One of a kind Dave Steib game worn cap from a St.Patrick's Day exhibition game against the Dodgers in 1989. It is all green (fitted of course) and good signs of wear. Signed neatly on the bill by Dave.

I love the Jays and have collected quite a few game jerseys over the years, but have only had a few hats and batting helmets. I have never seen a St. Pats uni for sale before. As this is a pre-season game it would be tougher to price. I would say that a motivated Jays collector might pay a few hundred for it.

Sorry...just noted that you mentioned it was from 1989, but the cap is inscribed "91" was this the date Dave auto'ed it?

Didn't the jays in 06 have a special St. Patricks day uniform at one game in Dunedin? I think I recall seeing them wear it on TV

The Jays wore St. Pats jersey's this past March and the year before. Jerseys were distributed through a lottery. I was lucky enough to win Overbay, Wells and 3 more.
