Longtime Jim Kelly teammate dies
Kent Hull, a center whose snaps went to QB Jim Kelly for over a decade, died yesterday at age 50. Cause of death has not been announced.
Hull began his pro career with the 1983 New Jersey Generals of the defunct USFL. Kelly joined him there later, and the two went in tandem to the Buffalo Bills in time for the 1986 NFL season. They were a team within a team through 1996, after which Kelly retired and Hull quickly followed suit.
