On eBay, starting this evening at 10:00 eastern, I will be offering a Pete Rose game used bat. The item number is 280030065076. Below is the auction description:
Offered is a vintage Pete Rose game used bat. The bat was made by Adirondack and is a model 69A. This UNCRACKED beauty is circa 1971-79 era and I am sure this “gamer would make a awesome addition to anyone’s game used bat collection. On the knob of the bat, in oil pencil is 35 ˝. Also written in oil pencil then outlined in red marker is Rose’s uniform number 14. The model number is manufactured into the knob of the bat and that number is 69A. When I received the bat, it was already signed in bold black marker. Since I was not sure on whether or not Pete actually signed the bat, I later took it to a show and personally watched Pete resign the bat.
