Is this the first member to make it to the World Series? Proud of my boy Steven Murphy (Braves, David Justice collector, cant think of what his name on here is).
After serving overseas in the war now he is back in the states and stationed outside of STL in the Air Force and presented the colors tonight and had a 3 or 4 second cameo on National TV He's the white guy on the right holding the flag.

Make me proud of my country everytime they show the armed forces before a sporting event. I am so glad that they give the armed forces that time.

Awesome experience and great pic! I worked security for the Metrodome in high school in 1987 and was on the field for the last few innings of game 7 of the WS near the home dugout.

I nearly knocked Ozzie Smith out of game 6 when I slammed into him in the underground tunnels slipping on my big gulp and talking to my buddy/coworker on the way to the dressing room. He feel flat onto the concrete floor, slamming his head pretty hard. He laid there for a minute w/ half of my coke all over his uniform. He was incredibly gracious as I apologized over and over saying no problem, shook my hand, and handed my empty cup back to me. I don't think he told anyone or I wouldn't have worked game 6, 7 or any other game at the Dome.

Wonder whatever happened to that coke filled uni?

Steve, here is the overhead view of the presentation of colors. Having each branch of the military represented on the field was extremely cool. Thank You for your service to this country and congratulations on this honor.

Awesome pics and thanks for the kind words everyone. It was truely an amazing experience. Was so awesome standing there just a few feet away from the first lady, and watching albert pujols run on the same field as i was standing on.
